Coorg, also called as Kodagu is a district in Malnad Region in Karnataka which is currently occupying around 4,100 square kms of landscape in the Western Ghats belt. Madikeri is the district headquarters and capital of Coorg district.

NISARGADHAMA 
Nisargadhama is nestled in the scenic Island formed by river Cauvery in Coorg. This exotic destination is situated 25 kms from Madikeri, 2 kms from Kushalnagar, amidst the Western Ghats. The dense forest of Nisargadhama boasts flora like foliage, teak and rosewood, bamboo grooves.

TIBETAN GOLDEN TEMPLE

HARANGI DAM 
The Harangi reservoir is located near Hudgur village, Somwarpet taluk in Coorg district and is formed by a masonry dam built across Harangi River, a tributary of River Kaveri. The dam is located only 6 Km away from the heart of Kushalnagar town.

ABBI FALLS 
Abbi Falls is situated in the mountains of Western Ghats. Abbi falls comprises several streams and during monsoon season it flows jubilantly hitting the huge boulders hard and forcing through the stream and valley created by it.

RAJAH SEAT
Raja's seat is situated amidst the seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains and lush green. Chain of high and low raising mountains makes it spectacular. This was one-time-favourites of Kings of Kodagu who use to watch the setting sun, and spend time with their queens here.

TALACAUVERY 
Talacauvery is generally considered to be the source of the Cauvery River. Talacauvery is situated in the Brahmagiri hill near Bhagamandala in Kodagu district. Brahmagiri is located 1,276 m above sea level.

DUBARE ELEPHANT CAMP
Dubare is a forest camp for elephants and popularly known as Dubare Elephant Camp. It is situated on the banks of river Kaveri in the district of Coorg. It is an important base for the Karnataka Forest Department's elephants. The elephants for the Mysore Dussehra were trained at Dubare elephant camp.

NAGARHOLE WILD LIFE SANCTUARY
Nagarhole National Park is also known as "Rajiv Gandhi National Park". It is located 94 kilometers from Mysore in Karnataka. Located to the northwest of Bandipur National Park, Kabini reservoir separates the two.

Highlight: The exclusive hunting reserve of the former rulers of Mysore, the park has rich forest cover, small streams, valleys, and waterfalls.

BHAGAMANDALA
Bhagamandala is a pilgrimage place in Kodagu. It is situated on the river Kaveri in its upstream stretches. At this place, the Kaveri is joined by two tributaries, the Kannike and the mythical Sujyoti river.

TADIANDEMOL: HIGHEST PEAK IN COORG
Tadiyandamol means highest point in Kodava language, this peak is the highest one in the Coorg district situated near Virajpet about a 30kms away on the way to Napoklu, Bhagamandala. This peak is just adjacent to the Makutta forest.

IRUPPU FALLS
The Irupu Falls is located in the Brahmagiri Range in the Coorg district.It is a fresh water cascade and is situated at a distance of 48 km from Virajpet on the highway to Nagarhole. The Falls are also known as the Lakshmana Tirtha Falls, derived from the name of the tributary of Cauvery which starts from these falls, the Lakshmana Tirtha River.

  1. Abbey Falls: 6.3 kms from Madikeri, accessible easily from Madikeri town, and need to walk half a mile to reach the spot.

  2. Irupu Falls: 48 kms from Virajpet, the falls originate from Lakshmana thirtha river which flows from the Brahma Giri range.
  3. Mallalli Falls: 22 kms from Somwarpet, waterfalls in the Pushpagiri range, a largest and highest waterfall in Coorg.
  4. Chelavara Falls: 22 kms from Madikeri, within the plantation, need to trek to reach there, best to visit in monsoon.
