Photography and travel are like expeditions hand in hand. Whenever I plan my trip for photography the majority of planning is in the stay, food, transfers and flights booking section. In short my personal travel agent Travel Chords with its portals does all the homework and give me peace of mind during the entire trip. There a lot of beautiful spots in Karnataka for a photographer who would love to engage in a mind blowing photography holiday.

My recent trip to malnad is a memorable gift given to me by my travel partner Travel Malnad a sister concern of Travel Chords Holidays. We were a group of 5 photography enthusiasts who planned this together and well executed by our travel experts. Our motif was clear, a nice location with a decent accommodation where we can spend 4 to 5 nights stay and give job to the shutters maximum. I liked the concepts put forth by Travel Malnad who are not just booking my stay or transfers but in detailed itinerary planner for a successful photoshoot trip.

Since we were in a group the choices and preferences for food to beverages were different and the hosts obliged for all the demands since we were travelling through Travel Malnad Brand. I was little skeptical in the beginning to choose remote locations considering the safety and security. The homestay given to us by Travel Malnad was extremely homely and secured and it was almost like that we have stayed at one of our own relative’s place.

The journey started from Bangalore on a Thursday and we were all geared up for this fantastic photography sessions. We were accompanied by Mr Richard one of the expert photographer from Australia. We were excited, energetic and looking for a new opportunity other than what we do in our routine work at Bangalore. The whole idea of “Escape to Nature” by Travel Malnad itself was running our minds continuously and all photo albums are named after this punch line. I was on the top with my adrenaline gush making me feel younger for adventure and older enough to appreciate the beauty of nature.

We reached the malnad homestay by noon time and welcomed with a nice fruit drink and continued with a sumptuous spread of buffet lunch. We had a nice lunch and all were feeling extremely pampered and took a nice power nap in the afternoon. Since we were there for next 4 days our instructor organized the time meticulously. Our evening photography sessions began at a nearby waterfalls and a hillock. Next 3 days was photo photo photo on our minds and cameras which kept us busy and filled our folders on our laptops a nice collection of clicks.
